Who should keep the living will once it has been prepared and signed?
A person can distribute either one copy or several copies to various important people or facilities such as spouse, local hospital, family doctor, important family members, or a close friend. Hospitals, medical facilities, and doctors usually require an original signed copy in order for the living will to be valid.
